Prague - All those who are eager to see and hear US President Barack Obama live and "unplugged" will have to get up very early in the morning.

"On Saturday about twenty security frames will be installed that will be used to check people coming to see President Obama," Prague police boss Martin Červíček told journalists on Wednesday.

"It would be practical if people come ahead of time and do not carry anything that could be used as a weapon," Červíček added.

Among the banned items are umbrellas, deodorants, banners, laser pointers, dogs (except guide dogs for the blind) and luggage, even small bags.

"Visitors will have to store them somewhere but there will no lockers," said Červíček.

In an online interview Lubomír Červíček said jokingly that "you can keep your shoes on but do not take them off", referring to Iraqi journalist Muntazer al-Zaidi who threw his shoes at former American president George Bush at a press conference and for which he was later sentenced to 3 years in prison.

The Hradčanské Square where Obama will give his speech will be accessible only through two streets - Loretánská and Kanovnická.

Nerudova Street will be used by VIP quests.

Obama is scheduled to address the crowd of enthusiasts at 10 a.m. The city hall is planning to install toilets and refreshment booths and prepare culture program for those who come early and will have to wait for hours to see the most powerful man of the planet.
